Chips are formed as a result of wood shredding using chippers. Its main advantage, due to the high degree of fragmentation, is a convenient storage method and the possibility of automating the combustion process. Chips are also used in the production of chipboards.

Pellet fuel

Pellet is a clean and ecological fuel produced from pressed sawdust and chips under high pressure and temperature. It usually occurs in the form of granules up to several centimetres long.

Peat

Peat is formed as a result of death and incomplete decomposition of plants, hence its composition includes organic substances, mineral parts and water. The use of peat for cultivation makes the soil more plump and better retains water and nutrients.

Bio Energy Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. with its registered office in Gryfice at ul. Armii Krajowej 39D/6 handles purchase and sale of fuels, mainly biomass in the form of forest chips, paper chips, defibration chips, sawmill sawdust and biomass of agricultural origin – i.e. briquettes and pellets made of hay and straw. These fuels are purchased from direct producers and sold to power plants and combined heat and power plants throughout the country as well as to cellulose, MDF, OSB and floor panels factories in Germany.
